Liberty and Garden of Dreams Foundation Host Fifth Annual Dream Week

NEW YORK, NY - As part of the fifth annual Dream Week, the New York Liberty will host 40 children from Garden of Dreams Foundation partner SCO Family of Services on Tuesday, August 13 at the MSG Training Center in Tarrytown, NY.

The Liberty and Garden of Dreams will provide the children from SCO with a behind-the-scenes look at where the Liberty practice, taking part in an interactive tour of the weight room, locker room and player's lounge. Liberty players and coaches will conduct a basketball clinic that includes various stations designed to demonstrate the fundamentals of the game.

During Dream Week, the children will enjoy one-of-a-kind activities planned by the New York Knicks, Rangers, MSG Network, MSG Sports Properties, MSG Entertainment and Fuse. The week will culminate with the children attending the Liberty game against the Washington Mystics on Friday, August 16 at Prudential Center. The children will participate in several in-game elements, including performing the national anthem, serving as the PA announcer for player introductions and honorary coach.
