Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The 2014 IronRail Series continues with the back end of a home-and-home series, as the IronPigs (39-44) play Game 1 of a two-game road series against the North's fifth-place Scranton/WB RailRiders (40-42) at PNC Field... With a 6-5 home loss to the RailRiders yesterday, the Pigs were swept in the two-game set but they continue to lead the IronRail series, 6-4. Lehigh Valley now has a three-game skid and has dropped seven of its last eight contests. Since May 30, Lehigh Valley has gone just 10-19, falling from second place and 0.5 GB in the North to sixth place and a season-high 11.0 GB... Scranton/WB -- the Yankees' top affiliate -- has won three consecutive games and four of its last five affairs. Still, the RailRiders have gone just 12-16 since June 1.
RHP Brad Lincoln (4-3, 4.03) will start for LHV against RHP Bruce Billings (4-4, 4.70).
First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m.
