Rochester Brigade News Release

(Rochester, NY)- The Rochester Brigade and the Albany Conquest of the Northeast Division have announced the first annual "NYS Lottery af2 Cup." As these teams are geographically located at opposite ends I-90, they will be competing for bragging rights of I-90.

The I-90 battle will begin this Saturday, April 13, when the Conquest heads west on the I-90 to visit the Brigade at the Blue Cross Arena.

"This weekend is a huge game for us... it's not just for the cup, it's for first place," declared Head Coach/General Manager Mark Saunders.

The teams will meet again on Saturday, April 27, when the Brigade travels east on the I-90 to visit the Pepsi Center. The official holder of the cup will be determined when the teams meet for their final match-up during the regular season on Thursday, June 20, on Rochester turf.

Following each game the winner will be presented with the trophy, allowing them bragging rights until the Brigade and Conquest meet again.

This rivalry showdown, spurred by territorial instincts, is going to be a game nobody will want to miss!
