Lemurs Season Starts in Two Weeks

LAREDO, TX - On Thursday, May 16, 2013 the reigning South Division Champion Laredo Lemurs will take the field for opening day against the Fargo Moorehead RedHawks, brought to you by Uni-Trade Forwarding.
This will be the first time that the Lemurs will play at Uni-Trade Stadium since they last took the field against the Wichita Wingnuts, in the first round of the American Association playoffs on September 6, 2012.
The Lemurs are excited to get the 2013 season underway with the opportunity to defend their South Division Championship. To commemorate the Lemurs accomplishment they will be raising the South Division Championship Flag atop the LED Video board.
Do people always ask you "when do the Lemurs play"? To help you answer that question we are handing out magnet schedules to the first 1000 families on opening day. So make sure you get to the ballpark early for the one of the best giveaways of the year.
Also on opening day we will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch to help get the season under way. There will be a lot of local Laredo dignitaries on hand for this part of the pre-game ceremonies.
All game times for home games will be at 7:30pm with the exception of Wednesday, May 22nd at 10:00am and the game on Sunday, June 2nd which will start at 3:16pm.
