Texas Legends News Release
Frisco, TX FEB. 5, 2012 - After struggling on Saturday the Texas Legends found their rhythm today for a blowout win against the Tulsa 66ers, 94-78.
Sean Williams led the way offensively and defensively for the Legends, supplying a team high 22 points along with four big blocks. Ramon Dyer was a rebounding force, ripping down 14 boards while contributing 15 points for his 8th double-double on the year.
Alando Tucker was far more impressive in his second game as a Legend, shooting 50% from the field while pouring in 16 points. As a team, Texas relentlessly attacked the boards to win the rebounding battle 49-37.
The Legends defense held Tulsa to 41% shooting, but their stifling defense couldn't slow down Jerome Dyson who went for a game high 30 points on 13 of 24 shooting.
The Texas Legends (13-16) now turn their focus toward the Springfield Armor (15-13) for a pair of games starting Thursday at 6:00PM in Springfield.
