Reno Bighorns News Release
RENO, NEV.- The Reno Bighorn fans were ready to give Blake Ahearn a warm return to Reno after he completed his historical streak of 110 consecutive free throws. He would provide the fans with excitement in return.
Ahearn recorded a game-high 35 points to lead the Bighorns to a 106-103 victory over the Bakersfield Jam Saturday night. Andre Emmett had 19 points and eight assists while Zach Graham posted the only double-double of the game with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The Bighorns would see themselves down 13 points at halftime, only to storm back and outscore the Jam 33-16 in the third quarter. Down three points with five seconds left in the game, the Jam would turn to Osiris Eldridge, who would miss on a tough turnaround three-pointer to end the game.
The Bighorns take on the Jam again on Monday night at 7 p.m. at the Reno Events Center. Every fan in attendance at Saturday night's game can use their ticket to receive a complimentary ticket to the game on Monday. Ticket stubs must be presented at the Reno Events Center box office for the complimentary ticket.
