FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends have announced the addition of Acie Law to the basketball operations front office staff through the NBA's Basketball Operations Associate Program.

Law, a four-year NBA veteran, will be with the Legends for the rest of the season as he continues his training in the NBA's Basketball Operations Associate Program, which prepares former NBA, WNBA and NBA G League players to pursue career opportunities in team management positions.

Law was a consensus All-American at Texas A&M before being selected in the first round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks. Following 188 career games in the NBA, the Dallas native played three seasons overseas, most recently with Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus in Greece in 2014.

Law has been working full-time at the NBA league office as one of four members of the Associate Program. The participants are involved in a year-long, immersive program designed to bolster their knowledge in areas including Basketball Analytics, Player Development, Scouting, Technology Applications and the Salary Cap. Law is the first from the program to join an NBA G League staff to learn about team operations.

"Acie will be a great addition to our staff," Legends President/General Manager Malcolm Farmer said. "He's ready and willing to learn as much as possible and we're excited to get him experience on the front lines."
