LAKE CHARLES â Coach Kip Texada has assembled the very best coaching staff to lead his Swashbucklers toward the championship this inaugural season. From his short list, Texada chose five men who have integrity to lead this team on and off the field.

Texada said, "It takes character, discipline, vision, and passion to lead great players. The truly great players can sense doubt and indecisiveness like a wild dog senses fear. I'm not only excited that these five gentlemen are on board, I'm proud to share the field with them."

The following coaches for the 2005 Inaugural Season are:

Andre' Perkins, Offensive Coordinator
Brian Blake, Offensive Coach
Tony Citizen, Offensive Line Coach
Michael Warren, Defensive Line Coach
Dr. David Hardy, Special Teams Coach

The Swashbucklers' 2005 season will kick off Saturday, March 26th as they host the Lubbock Lone Stars. From the very first kick off, the Legend begins in Southwest Louisiana.
