Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry Holds First Ever Golf Tournament

LAWTON, OKLA. -- The Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry and the Official Sponsor the "Comanche Nation" will host its first ever Golf Tournament Monday, October 27, 2008 at Fort Sill Golf Club located at 1275 Quinette Rd., Fort Sill.

"We are excited about having our first golf tournament and we would like all our die hard golfers to come and enjoy a fun competitive afternoon of golf," stated VP Aso Pogi, " and we are welcoming all while there are spots available."

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. Shotgun starts at 1:00 p.m. sharp. There will be door prizes, money prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, a longest drive contest and mulligans will be available.

Half of the proceeds will go to a non-profit organization and the other half will go to funding basketball operations. We encourage all that love the game of golf to come out or you also have the option to be a tournament sponsor.
