LAREDO, Texas – The Laredo Law were assigned two players today by the arenafootball2 league office. The Law acquired quarterback Terence Coleman and fullback-linebacker James Dawson. The Law is on the road in Oklahoma City this coming Saturday. Laredo returns home on Saturday, May 15th against the defending af2 champion Tulsa Talons. Call the Law ticket office at (956)-726-GAME (4263) or log onto www.laredolaw.com.

Dawson joins the Law after playing collegiatly at the University of Louisville. The 6'3" 260-pound fullback-linebacker brings needed depth to Laredo. Dawson played in 2002 and 2003 with the af2 Louisville Fire. In 2003 he had five rushing touchdowns in 11 games.

"James is big strong and fast," said Law head coach Scot Maynard. "He is a tough physical kid who knows the game. James brings needed experience to the mack linebacker position (the linebacker that rushes the quarterback)."

Coleman played his college football at NW Oklahoma State. The 6'0" 210 pound quarterback spent time with Tulsa during the 2001 af2 campaign. He spent the 2002 season with the Idaho Stallions of the IPFL.

In other moves the Law placed quarterback Josh Rogers and fullback-linebacker Sedrick Brown on injured reserve. Laredo reassigned wide receiver-defensive back Terrence Minor and defensive specialist Chris Torrillo.
