
LaRue is Gatorade Callup #10

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 1 â Asheville Altitude guard Rusty LaRue has signed a 10-day contract with the Golden State Warriors, making him the 10th NBDL-to-NBA "Gatorade Callup" of this season.
Since the NBDL began competition in November 2001, 23 players have received 32 "Gatorade Callups" to play for NBA teams. LaRue is the third Asheville player to be called up this season, all coming since Feb. 18.
LaRue has played in 17 games since joining the Altitude Jan. 6. The 6-3 Wake Forest product has averaged 25.6 minutes, 10.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He leads the NBDL in three-point field goal percentage at .483 (28-58 3FG) and ranks 10th in free throw percentage at .808 (21-26 FT).
