Lansing Ignite FC's Xavier Gomez, Grant Stoneman Named to USL League One Team of the Week

LANSING, Mich. - USL League One announced today Lansing Ignite FC midfielder Xavier Gomez and defender Grant Stoneman had been named to the Team of the Week for Week 1 of the 2019 regular season.
Gomez recorded one goal and one assist, as well as made seven recoveries and completed 29 of 36 passes overall, to lead Lansing to its first victory in club history. Stoneman won nine of 12 duels, made four recoveries, recorded four interceptions and completed 39 of 51 passes overall.
Following Saturday's 3-2 victory against the Richmond Kickers, LIFC is preparing for its road match against Greenville Triumph SC in Greenville, South Carolina, on April 6.
On April 12, LIFC will hold a rally in downtown Lansing and will kick off the first League One match at Cooley Law School Stadium against the Kickers on April 13 (BUY TICKETS). The celebration of soccer in the Michigan capital will continue three days later, when LIFC faces off against the Michigan State Spartans in the Capital Cup, presented by Sparrow (BUY TICKETS).
