Rochester Lancers News Release

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Lancers (5-5) will play the third game of a four game home stretch this Thursday, December 27 when they host the Milwaukee Wave beginning at 7:00 p.m. It will be a good test for a Rochester squad that is looking to move closer to the top of the MISL standings.

The Lancers will be looking to once again rise above the .500 mark when they play the Wave. The two sides met earlier this month in Milwaukee with the home side earning a 13-6 win. The Wave are currently 5-2 and two games behind MISL leader Baltimore, however they will be in Syracuse to take on the Silver Knights tonight before heading to Rochester for Thursday's tilt.

Rochester is currently three games behind Baltimore and a half game behind Milwaukee in the MISL standings. The Lancer's Doug Miller continues to lead the MISL in scoring with (20) total goals and 48 points.

Rochester will close out their four game home stretch on New Year's Day when they welcome first place Baltimore to town. It will mark the second time they have hosted the Blast this season.
