Lance McCullers to Kick off Space Cowboys Six-Game Homestand

(SUGAR LAND, Texas) - The Sugar Land Space Cowboys welcome the Round Rock Express for a six-game series beginning Tuesday at Constellation Field.

Houston Astros right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. is scheduled to make an MLB Rehab Assignment start in Tuesday's series opener. The Space Cowboys will be opening gates to Constellation Field at 5 p.m. for Tuesday's 7:05 p.m. first pitch and are encouraging fans to arrive early.

The Space Cowboys' first homestand of the second half includes a jersey giveaway, postgame concert and a teacher appreciation night.

7:05 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, vs. Round Rock

Five-Dollar Frozens (presented by Jose Curevo Tradicional) - Fans can purchase $5 frozen margaritas for every Tuesday home game.

Lance McCullers Jr. Rehab Start - The Astros star is scheduled to make the third start of his MLB Rehab Assignment.

7:05 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, vs. Round Rock

Dollar Dogs (presented by Texas Chili) - Fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs at concession stands throughout Constellation Field every Wednesday home game in 2022.

Goodwill Wednesdays - People can donate gently used items to participating Goodwill store and receive a ticket voucher to a Space Cowboys game. People can also donate their gently used items at Constellation Field on Wednesdays and receive a general admission ticket to that night's game. 7:05 p.m., Thursday, August 4, vs. Round Rock

Thirsty Thursday (presented by Space Train IPA)- Every Thursday home game in 2022, fans can purchase $2 domestic draft beers and sodas throughout concession stands at Constellation Field.

Teacher Appreciation Night - The Space Cowboys are celebrating Houston teachers by offering a free ticket to Thursday's game. Teachers can claim their free tickets with their valid school email. 7:05 p.m., Friday, August 5, vs. Round Rock

Friday Fireworks (presented by Gentle Ben) - The Space Cowboys will light up the sky Texas-style with a postgame fireworks show every Friday home game this season.

Karbach Cantina Happy Hour - Fans can enjoy $5 beer specials from 6-7 p.m. at the Karbach Cantina located beyond the left field wall at Constellation Field as they prep to watch Space Cowboys baseball.

Go Green Night (presented by Constellation) - 2,000 fans will be given Space Cowboys-themed fanny packs as they enter the gates for Friday's game.

Family Four-Pack - Kick off the weekend with the family at Constellation Field, with a four-pack of tickets that includes four hot dogs and four sodas for just $44. 6:05 p.m., Saturday, August 6, vs. Round Rock

Spazmatics Postgame Concert - The Space Cowboys will be hosting '80s Night, featuring a postgame concert from the Spazmatics. All tickets to the game will include admission to the concert, which will take place at the Bud Light Icehouse. Fans will be allowed onto the Constellation Field outfield to view the concert.

Peanuts-Themed Jersey Auction (benefitting Candlelighters) - The Space Cowboys will be wearing Peanuts-themed jerseys, that will be silent auctioned throughout the game, with proceeds benefitting Candlelighters. Fans must place their bid on the team-issued jerseys in-person during the game. Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance provides emotional, educational and practical support to families of children with cancer.

6:05 p.m., Sunday, August 7, vs. Round Rock

Space Cowboys Astronaut-Themed Jersey (presented by Houston Methodist) - The Space Cowboys will be giving away 2,000 astronaut-themed Space Cowboys jerseys to fans as they enter the gates for Sunday's game.

Family Four-Pack - Finish out the week with the family at Constellation Field, with a four-pack of tickets that includes four hot dogs and four sodas for just $44 every Sunday home game. Orion's Kid Club Sundays (Presented by Sugar Mill Montessori School & Meadow Montessori School) - Prior to every Sunday home game, kids can play catch on the Constellation Field outfield.
