Lakeland franchise to make announcements

LAKELAND, Fla. â Centurion Sports Management, LLC, has scheduled a press conference for it's Lakeland National Indoor Football League franchise for 11:00am on Monday, November 1st at Angel's Sports Bar and Grill located at 4231 S. Florida Ave. in Lakeland.
Team owner, Dell Martin, will be on hand to announce the team name, logo and colors, as well as the hiring of the first head coach in franchise history.
"We took our time looking for a head coach because we felt it was important to be sure we got the right man for the job," said Martin. "We're sure we've got our man."
The new head coach is a Tampa, FL native, attended Tampa Jesuit High School, the University of Texas El Paso, and the University of Kentucky. As a player, he won the IPFL Championship in 2000 and the NIFL Inaugural Championship in 2001 as a player/coach. In 2002, as an Assistant Coach/Defensive Coordinator he won the AF2 American Conference Championship and in 2004 won the AF2 League Championship with the Florida Firecats.
