LA Galaxy to Host Colorado Rapids on Sunday, October 30 in Audi 2016

LOS ANGELES- The LA Galaxy will host the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, Oct. 30 at StubHub Center in the Western Conference Semifinals of the Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs. Tickets to the match Sunday at StubHub Center are on sale now, at www.lagalaxy.com/playoffs or by calling 877-3GALAXY (342-5299).

Time and broadcast information for the Galaxy's match Sunday against Colorado will be announced following the conclusion of the Knockout Round matches set for Thursday, Oct. 27. The Semifinals are a two-game series, aggregate-goal format with the winner advancing to the Western Conference Championship. The Galaxy will play the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinal series on Sunday, Nov. 6 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.

The Galaxy advanced past the Western Conference Knockout Round Wednesday night with a 3-1 win over Real Salt Lake at StubHub Center, propelled by a first-half brace from Emmanuel Boateng and a goal from Alan Gordon.

The Galaxy have faced the Colorado Rapids three times this season, going 0-1-2 in their previous three games. In their most recent contest, LA earned a 1-1 draw at StubHub Center on Aug. 13.

The Galaxy have qualified for MLS Cup Playoffs in 18 of the club's 21 seasons, earning an all-time record of 42-21-7 while winning a record five MLS Cup trophies. The Galaxy have also qualified for every MLS Cup Playoffs since 2009, marking eight-straight years, which is the second-longest streak in MLS history.
