LA Galaxy Forward Giovani Dos Santos to Appear on "Conan" Tonight

CARSON, Calif.- LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos will join Conan O'Brien on "Conan" as a part of the debut of "Conan Without Borders: Made in Mexico" tonight at 10 p.m. PT/ET on TBS in the United States and Televisa in Mexico. Dos Santos and renowned late-night talk show host Conan O'Brian traveled to Mexico City to play a pickup soccer game at a local park.

Dos Santos, donning his Mexico National Team jersey, teamed up with O'Brien to surprise locals at Parque Pilares in the community of Benito Juárez in Mexico City by playing in a friendly soccer match. Dos Santos and O'Brien then signed a petition against the privatization of the community parks, which currently are unrestricted, located in Benito Juárez. The episode will also air in 15 separate countries throughout Central and South America on Unicable Latinoamérica on Friday, March 3.

Dos Santos, 26, was born in Mexico City and has been a prominent member of the Mexico National Team since his debut in 2007. He has represented his country in various tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup, CONCACAF Gold Cup and Olympic competitions. Last season, Dos Santos tallied 14 goals and 12 assists for the Galaxy while earning MLS Best XI honors.

The LA Galaxy will kick off the 2017 MLS Season this Saturday, March 4 at StubHub Center when they host FC Dallas at 1 p.m. PT live on Univision.
