
L.C. Walker Arena and Event Center Introduces Holiday Hours

Starting at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, December 16th through Sunday, January 5 th, L.C. Walker Arena and Event Center will be providing opportunities to lace the skates up with friends and family daily. Ian Vanbiesbrouck, Assistant General Manager and Youth Hockey Director, shared, "L.C. Walker is the premier Ice Arena on the Lakeshore with great ice, clean locker-rooms, and an experienced friendly staff. We want folks in our community to utilize L.C. Walker Arena year-round to stay healthy, connect with family and friends during open skating, working on skills during our sticks and pucks sessions, or getting in a great workout to start the day."
The daily Monday-Friday Ice schedule will feature:
- Drop-In Hockey: 7:30-9:00 a.m. ($10, Full-Equipment)
- Sticks and Pucks: 11:00-12:50 p.m. ($8, Full-Equipment)
- Public Skate: 1:00-2:30 p.m. ($4)
- Shinny Hockey: 2:45-4:50 ($8, 12/18-12/26 Full-Equipment)

L.C. Walker Arena and Event Center, dedicated in October of 1960, is the Home of the United States Hockey League's (USHL) Muskegon Lumberjacks, the Muskegon Junior Jacks Youth Hockey program, and numerous special events including concerts, graduations, and the Shrine Circus.
