PF Abednego Lufile eyes a free throw

The Kitchener-Waterloo Titans Basketball Club is pleased to announce the signing of Canadian PF Abednego Lufile for the 2018-19 NBL Canada season.
"It's great to have another piece to support the solid core of our front court," shared Titans Head Coach Cavell Johnson.
"Abednego is a hungry Canadian newcomer who is ready to learn and make an impact with the playing time he'll earn. He's a great physical presence to complement Flen (Whitfield) and Derek (Hall) up front. His athleticism, physical play and intensity make him a strong fit for the Titans personnel and culture."
Abednego Lufile (6'7", 240 lbs), is a native of Burlington, Ontario. He completed his junior year in college at East Tennessee State (NCAA DI) before transferring to Arkansas Tech (NCAA DII) in 2016-17, where he averaged 11.7 PPG and 8.6 RPG as senior. Lufile is entering his first season of professional basketball.
"I'm really excited to come back to KW and start my professional career with the Titans," said Lufile.
"I went to Waterloo Collegiate Institute High School and played for REDA Prep. This is a great opportunity to play in my high school hometown and in front of familiar faces. I'm excited to kick off my rookie season with a Head Coach who is fresh off of playing pro ball in Canada and overseas.
"The greatest thing about Coach Johnson is that he's a players' coach and knows exactly what I need to do to be successful in this league and to grow as a professional. I can't wait to learn from a coach of his caliber, and get down to work with my teammates."
