"Kurtiss Riggs Show" to Debut Wednesday Night

The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is pleased to announce that the premier edition of 'The Kurtiss Riggs Show" will be broadcast LIVE from Gateway Lounge this Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. The show will air on 1230 AM KWSN with "The Silver Fox" Rich Roste serving as host for the 2007 season.

Storm Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs will preview the 2007 Storm season and look forward to the Storm's Week 1 battle with the Rock River Raptors. Guests on the show will include Storm quarterback Terrance Bryant and linebacker Mark Blackburn . Bryant was named UIF MVP in 2006 and will be returning for his third season with the Storm. Blackburn was the teams leading tackler last season as he was involved in 138 tackles.

Also on the show will be former defensive end Austin Flyger. Flyger is second on teams all-time sack list as he compiled 24.5 sacks in his three seasons with the team. Flyger will not be returning to the Storm for the 2007 season because of a shoulder injury, but he will reminisce about his years playing for the Storm.

Other guests will include Ben Reiser from Fonder Sewing Machine Company and Sara Roth from ETCH Hair Salon and Day Spa. Both businesses will serve as presenting sponsors for "The Kurtiss Riggs Show" in 2007. Reiser and Roth will discuss their businesses and talk about what sets their business apart from their competitors.

All Storm fans are invited to attend the LIVE Broadcast. Gateway Lounge in located just off of 41st St. behind Carmike Theatre. Fans from Sections O and F will be recognized and have the opportunity to win prizes including autographed memorabilia and gift certificates to the Gateway Lounge. All fans can take advantage of drink specials and sign-up for other prizes.

Player camp continues this week as the Storm prepares for its season opener at Rock River on Saturday, March 24 with a 7:05pm kick-off.
