Pensacola Pelicans News Release
The Pelicans announce today the Krazy Karacters will be performing at Pelican Park on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 of 2005 when the Pelicans host the Fort Worth Cats.
The Krazy Karacters will be the fifth and sixth acts of the 2005 "Super Saturday" Entertainment Series brought to you by the Pensacola Pelicans. Fans can expect either fireworks or an exciting entertainment act on every Saturday home game this season.
Five different zany mascots make up the Krazy Karacters: Jumping Jack, Rocket, Big Foot, Speedy and Baby Blue. Each mascot comes with an assortment of clothing and accessories which results in more than 25 different costumes. Two acts will perform on Friday and the other three on Saturday.
Prior to the game, each mascot will welcome fans into the stadium. Then throughout the game, they will perform 10-15 different skits entertaining fans until every fan has left the stadium.
Their skits involve the audience by allowing kids to dress up like a mascot. Fireworks, a fireman, a doctor and changing features like hair, noses and ears with a variety of different colors are all apart of the Krazy Karacters' skits.
