Incidentally, his last pro game was at Port Huron Jan. 18, 2003, a 5-1 loss.

900 games and counting.....defenseman Guy Dupuis skated his 900th game (regular season and playoffs) as a Komet Wednesday and sets a new record of Fort Wayne career games played by a single player with each appearance.

Tyler Sims signs with Elmira.....goalie Tyler Sims, who has been on emergency goaltender status with the Komets the past 14 games since Nov. 13, signed with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL Saturday and appeared in his first game of the season Sunday night. Sims suffered a 2-1 shootout loss stopping 36 of 37 shots before allowing two goals on four Toledo attempts in the shootout.

Syroczynski re-called by Norfolk.....Matt Syroczynski (LW) was re-called by the AHL's Norfolk Admirals Thursday after scoring a goal and adding an assist in the Komets' 4-2 home loss to Port Huron Wednesday.
