Macon Knights News Release
MACON, Ga. â The Macon Knights announced today that Miacah Cooper has been the first player assigned to the team for the 2003 season.
Cooper will enter his second season in the af2 and with the Knights. Last season Cooper recorded three assisted tackles and returned one missed field goal for three yards in two games.
Cooper, 6'3" 215 lbs, played at Morris Brown College and will play wide receiver and linebacker for the Knights.
Although Cooper didn't play in many games last season, Kevin Porter, general manager and head coach of the Knights, is excited to have him back.
"I think Miacah gained a lot of experience last season," said Porter. "He might not have played as much as he would've liked to, but he really learned a lot about the game of arena football. He's a great player, with good size, and he has the potential to be a major contributor for us in 2003."
