Rochester Knighthawks News Release
(December 14, 2016)... The Rochester Knighthawks are proud to renew their Tickets for Troops program for the 2017 National Lacrosse League season. The initiative renews a yearlong partnership with the Veterans Outreach Center and Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning to honor the local men and women in our community who defend our freedom.
The Knighthawks, who play in a building dedicated to the sacrifices and service of our local soldiers, will kick off their season on Thursday, Dec. 29, when they host the Toronto Rock at 7:30 p.m.
"The Knighthawks are honored to announce the continuation of our Tickets for Troops promotion for the 2017 season," said Knighthawks Executive VP of Business Operations Nate Snyder. "This program is the least that we can do to thank the individuals who protect the freedoms that we have in this country."
Each game, the Knighthawks will honor a military member with two suite tickets and an in-game acknowledgment of their service. Friends and family are encouraged to nominate their loved ones online.
The Knighthawks will again honor military members through their Military Appreciation Night. More information regarding the night will be provided at a later date.
