
Knighthawks Make Player Moves

Rochester Knighthawks News Release
(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Knighthawks General Manager Regy Thorpe made nine player moves today and traded defenseman/transition player Luke Forget (fohr-ZHAY) to the Portland LumberJax.
Rochester trimmed down its roster by releasing goalie Grant Crawley and forwards Sean Holmes, Shawn Wilkins, Joe Hall and Brandon Rose. The Knighthawks also placed defenseman Marshall Abrams on the hold out list and put defenseman Scott Ditzell on the protected player list.
Additionally, the K-Hawks moved forward Mitch Nanticoke and defenseman Chandon Hill to the injured reserve list. The Knighthawks also placed forward John Grant on the unable to perform list. Grant was injured in the offseason and will miss the 2009 season.
Rochester also traded Luke Forget and a fourth-round 2009 pick to Portland for a second round pick in 2010 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. Forget played two seasons in Rochester and was a member of the 2007 Champion's Cup team.
The Knighthawks open the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, January 10th at 8:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.
