Rochester Knighthawks News Release

The Rochester Knighthawks will complete the road portion of their schedule on Friday with a 9:00 p.m. showdown in Denver against the Colorado Mammoth.

The Knighthawks enter the contest on a season-high two-game winning streak, following a 12-10 victory over the Toronto Rock last Saturday. Rochester will now face a Mammoth club, who is on the verge of a postseason berth. Colorado can lock up the fourth and final playoff spot in the West with a win over Rochester or with a Vancouver loss versus Philadelphia on Friday.

Broadcast Info: The game will be broadcast on 107.3 The Bull and the iHeartRadio app. Fans can watch the contest on B/R Live and CW Rochester. Local TV coverage will be available on cable channels 16 and 1016, and over-the-air at 13.2. DIRECTV will also carry the broadcast on channel 14.

Head-to-Head: The contest is the first and only meeting of the season between the two teams. The Knighthawks won the last meeting, 16-14, on March 31, 2018.

Scouting the Knighthawks: Rochester knocked off Toronto on April 6, as it received a six-point night from Ryan Benesch and a five-point effort from Cody Jamieson. Mike Burke also chipped in three goals and one assist. Warren Hill was once again solid in between the pipes as he made 42 saves to pick up his second straight victory. Defenseman/transition man Oran Horn posted his first professional point, as he collected one assist. Defenseman Graeme Hossack hit a milestone as he scooped up the 500th loose ball of his career. Hossack is also tied for second in the NLL in points among defensemen with 23. Jake Withers continues to lead the NLL with a 73 percent faceoff winning percentage.

Milestone Watch:

- Kyle Jackson needs four assists to reach 100.

- Cody Jamieson is 10 points away from 700 in his career.

- Ryan Benesch is 10 points away from becoming only the 10th player in NLL history to reach 1,000 points.

Former Knighthawk Cory Vitarelli led the way for Colorado with two goals and one assist. Defenseman Robert Hope is seventh in the league in loose balls with 127, which is just behind Rochester's Jake Withers and Graeme Hossack. Former RIT star Kyle Killen is second in the league in rookie scoring with 41 points in 12 games. Another former Tiger, Ryan Lee, is second on the Mammoth with 49 points. Eli McLaughlin leads Colorado with 75 points.
