Knighthawks Have Four Picks in Next Week's Draft

The back-to-back National Lacrosse League Champion Rochester Knighthawks will have four selections in the 2013 NLL Entry Draft, which will take place on Monday, September 16th at 7:00 p.m. at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) in Oakville, Ontario.

Rochester will make its first selection in the third round, 27th overall. The Knighthawks also own the 37th, 46th, 55th picks in the six-round draft. The Minnesota Swarm currently hold the first overall selection. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for fans while the Draft will also be broadcast live on YouTube via The Lacrosse Network.

Prior to the Draft, the 2013 Player Combine for draft-eligible players takes place at the TRAC from Saturday, September 14th through Sunday, September 15th. The Combine culminates with the Combine Prospects Game on September 15th at 2:00 p.m. Players will be made available to the media following the game, which is expected to end at approximately 4:00 p.m. TRAC is located at 1132 Invicta Drive in Oakville.

The Knighthawks will kick off their historic 20th season on Saturday, December 28th, as they host the Minnesota Swarm at 7:30 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. Season tickets are currently on sale by calling (585) 454-4295 (HAWK) or by going online to www.knighthawks.com.
