
Knighthawks' Championship Cup Tour continues this week

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Knighthawks' 11-day Champion's Cup Tour continues this week. The tour concludes on Saturday, May 26th with a Championship Celebration at PAETEC Park with Knighthawks players and members of the coaching staff.
The next stop on the tour is on Tuesday, May 22nd at The Distillery at 1142 Mt. Hope Ave. The Cup will be on display from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, May 23rd, the Cup will head to Eastview Mall in Victor. The first stop is Build-A-Bear Workshop at 5:30 p.m. From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., it will be stationed in the food court.
On Saturday, Nathaniel's Pub will house the Cup from noon to 5:00 p.m. as part of the Rattlers' pregame party. Fans can get their photos taken with the Champion's Cup and watch the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Final Four games on ESPN2. Admission is free.
The Cup will then move to PAETEC Park for the 6:30 p.m. meet and greet with the Knighthawks players and coaching staff. During the Major League Lacrosse game between Rochester and the Washington Bayhawks, the trophy will remain on display. The final stop that night is Water Street Music Hall. The team will hold its postgame party at 204 North Water Street from 9:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Admission is free.

Rochester captured the 2007 NLL title on May 12th, defeating the Arizona Sting 13-11 at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The win was the team's 15th straight and capped a 17-2 season. The championship was the second in the franchise's history. The Knighthawks last won the title in 1997.
