
Knighthawks Acquire Two Picks for Resetarits

The Rochester Knighthawks announced today that they have acquired a first- and second-round pick from the New England Black Wolves in exchange for forward Joe Resetarits. The deal is pending league approval.
"I would like to thank Joe for his dedication and commitment to the organization during his five seasons with the Knighthawks," said Rochester Owner and General Manager Curt Styres.
For the seven-year pro, the Knighthawks will receive New England's 2022 first-round pick and the Black Wolves' second-round pick in 2019 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. This season, the 29-year-old has collected 15 goals and 26 assists for 41 points.
Resetarits has played in Rochester since being acquired from the Buffalo Bandits on March 31, 2015. During his time with the Teal and Purple, the Hamburg, NY, native posted 109 goals and 168 assists in 68 games. During the 2017-18 season, he became the first U.S.-born player in history to record 100 points in a season. He was awarded by being named a Second Team All-Pro and Knighthawks' Offensive MVP.
