Knight Monsters Add Defenseman Aidan De La Gorgendiere

STATELINE, NV - The Tahoe Knight Monsters, proud ECHL Affiliate of the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights and the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights, announced today the signing of defenseman Aidan De La Gorgendiere

De La Gorgendiere joins the Knight Monsters from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where he posted 13 points in 33 games this season.

Prior to joining the Mavericks, De La Gorgendiere spent two seasons at the University of Alberta, where he recorded 45 points in 38 games. The Abbotsford, British Columbia, native also appeared in 10 games with the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL during the 2023-24 season, where he amassed a goal and four assists.

De La Gorgendiere spent parts of six seasons with the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League, where he served as captain during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons.

The Knight Monsters return home on Friday, April 3, 2026, to take on the Cincinnati Cyclones for Star Wars Knight at Tahoe Blue Event Center. Puck drop is at 7:00 pm, with pregame coverage on the Knight Monsters broadcast network beginning at 6:50 pm. Ticket packages for the 2025-26 season are now available.
