KiXX Set for Home-and-Home Series Versus League-Leading Milwaukee

Philadelphia, PA, April 8, 2005 â The Philadelphia KiXX, who secured a postseason berth for the ninth consecutive year, embark on a home-and-home series versus the Milwaukee Wave this weekend. The club first battles the League-leaders at the U.S. Cellular Arena on Friday, April 8, before returning to the City of Brotherly Love to entertain the Wave at the Wachovia Spectrum on Saturday, April 9. Friday's contest is scheduled for an 8:05 pm ET kick-off and will webcast live at www.milwaukeewave.com, while Saturday's meeting is slated for a 7:05 pm ET start time and webcast live at www.PennLive.com.
The KiXX-Wave meeting on April 9 marks the club's annual "Christian Night." The night's festivities include a post-game concert featuring national recording artist, Sanctus Real, and testimonials from a few KiXX players and the team's chaplain, Rich Sparling.
Philadelphia enters the doubleheader weekend ranked second in the seven-team League, trailing the Wave by two full games for the top spot. With only four games remaining, this weekend's home-and-home series could determine which team secures the number one seed in the 2005 MISL Playoffs.
