Philadelphia, PA, April 22, 2005 â The Philadelphia KiXX conclude their 2004-2005 regular-season schedule with a trip west to battle the Kansas City Comets on Saturday, April 23. Game-time at Kemper Arena is slated for 8:35 pm ET. The KiXX dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the Comets in the team's home finale at the Wachovia Spectrum on April 16.
Philadelphia, which enters the season finale with a 21-17 record, currently hold the third seed in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) standings and have qualified for postseason play for the ninth consecutive season. The Comets, however, rank sixth in the seven-team League with a 17-20 mark and have been eliminated from playoff contention.
The Philadelphia KiXX are a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League, a single-entity organization that features a coast-to-coast presence across the United States. The club will enter its ninth season of play in 2004-05 at the Wachovia Spectrum located in Philadelphia, PA.
