KiXX Agree to Terms with Veteran Midfielders for 06-07

Philadelphia, PA, October 10, 2006 - The Philadelphia KiXX announced today that the club has agreed to terms with veteran midfielders Dino Delevski and Edgar Bartolomeu for the upcoming 2006-07 campaign. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Delevski, who joined Philadelphia midway through the 2005-06 season and recorded 15 points (nine goals, six assists) in nine appearances, was named the MISL's Most Valuable Player (MVP) following both the 2001-02 and the 2002-03 campaigns. The five-time All-League selection and four-time All-Star registered over 200 points in the two-year span to also claim the Spalding Scoring Champion Title each season as well. The seven-year veteran began his professional indoor career with the Wichita Wings of the NPSL in 1999 and then joined the Kansas City Comets prior to the 2001-02 season.
The Oklahoma City University product earned Second Team All-American honors and Regional Player of the Year recognition in 1999. Delevski's career statistics indoors are as follows:

A native of Angola, Africa, Bartolomeu began his professional indoor career with the now-defunct Buffalo Blizzard of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) in 2000. He was acquired by Philadelphia in the 2001 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Dispersal Draft and spent the next four seasons in a KiXX uniform. The 30-year-old midfielder, a key component in the club's 2001-02 League Championship, has amassed 50 points and 102 blocks in 93 appearances in his five-year career.
Bartolomeu also competed with the New York/New Jersey MetroStars (now known as Red Bull New York) in 2003 and the Toronto Lynx of the outdoor A-League in 1999, 2000, 2004 and 2006.

The club opens the season with a trip west to battle the California Cougars on Sunday, November 5, before returning to the City of Brotherly Love to kick-off their home schedule versus the expansion Detroit Ignition on Saturday, November 11. All fans in attendance at the Wachovia Spectrum will receive a complimentary 2006-07 Philadelphia KiXX Magnetic Schedule. Game-time is scheduled for 7:05 pm ET with the doors opening at 6:00 pm ET.

The Philadelphia KiXX are a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), a single-entity organization that features a coast-to-coast presence across the United States.
