Dreaming of becoming a part of the Kings' royal court? The Kalamazoo Kings Professional Baseball Team is looking for local talent to add to the 2003 spring training camp roster.
The local tryout will take place at Homer Stryker Field on Saturday, May 3, 2003. The tryout begins at 11:00 a.m. with registration beginning at 10:00 a.m. There is a $25 tryout fee. Homer Stryker Field is located inside Mayors' Riverfront Park at 251 Mills St. in Kalamazoo. The rain date is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m.
Those interested can pre-register by visiting the Kalamazoo Kings website at www.kalamazookings.com. Print off the registration form and mail it, along with the registration fee, to the Kings office at 251 Mills, St., Kalamazoo, MI 49001.
