Kim Mueller Named CBA Executive of the Year

ALBANY, NY (April 27, 2007) -The Continental Basketball Association announced today that Kim Mueller, General Manager of the Minot Skyrockets, has been named the CBA Executive of the Year for the 2006-07 season as voted on by the league office. This is the second year for this award, which is meant to recognize the accomplishments and leadership of the Executives of the CBA.

"Kim's hard work and dedication to the Skyrockets this season has been beneficial to the city of Minot and the CBA as a whole," said CBA Director of Operations Dennis Truax. "Kim has been a vital cog in the overall success of not only the Skyrockets but the Apex Sportstainment group. Her expertise and knowledge make her an easy selection for this award."

Mueller started working with the Skyrockets in August 2006 when the team began operations in Minot. She has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She most recently worked as Program Supervisor for the Prairie Rose State Games in Bismarck. Prior to that, she spent six years in the CBA, starting as a game day operations intern and working her way up to Director of Marketing. Also, she served as Community Relations Representative for United Blood Services. She was an Assistant Coach of Varsity Girls' and Boys' Soccer for St. Mary's Central High School in Bismarck for five years.
