
Killer Bees Announce Chilin' with the Bees

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees players will be donning the chef's hat and apron on December 11th as they vie for the first-ever Killer Bees Chili Cup. The players will be split into five separate teams who will be in charge of cooking their own chili. In addition the front office of the Bees will be entered as well.
Secret spices, special sauces, and flavors galore will be on display as the players each make their chili their own.
Fans will be able to vote for their favorite chili with the winning team of players awarded the prestigious Killer Bees Chili Cup.
After voting, fans will be automatically entered for the grand prize drawing to be held after the competition. In addition all apron's worn by the players will be auctioned off after the competition.
The competition will be held at Sofie's Saloon on South 10th Street in McAllen from 2 to 5 p.m. The event is free for fans to attend and the chili will be free as well. Voting coupons will be 50 cents each with all proceeds benefiting the Killer Bee Foundation, a 501(c)3 charity.
