(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes will have a different look when they take on the CHL's top-ranked Sarnia Sting on Thursday, November 2 at 7:05pm. The Petes will wear plaid jerseys in support of United Way Peterborough.
Country 105 is proud to sponsor Thursday's game, and will be playing today's best country music throughout the arena.
Fans at the game will have many opportunities to support United Way Peterborough. There will be a silent auction in the north lobby which includes a pair of Toronto Maple Leafs tickets, a signed jerseys, and other great prizes. Fans can also purchase pucks for the second intermission chuck-a-puck for a chance to win a pair of Toronto Maple Leafs tickets and a Petes jersey.
Bidding for the plaid jerseys that the Petes will wear for the game will take place through CHL Auctions, and will go live at 12 noon on Thursday, November 2. Bidding will close at 7:00pm on Sunday, November 12.
Local artist Melissa Payne will perform the national anthem.
Fans are encouraged to use the tag #PetesPlaidNight on social media throughout the game.
The Petes will be back in action on at the PMC at 7:05pm on Saturday, November 4 against the Barrie Colts before heading to Mississauga for a matinee match-up with the Steelheads on Sunday at 2:00pm. Game tickets are available starting at $8 through the Collins Barrow PMC Box Office, online, or by at phone at (705) 743-3561.
