HIDALGO, TX: March 3, 2005 â The Rio Grande Valley Dorados of arenafootball2 get back one of their key pieces from last season's squad, as kicker Eric Houle has been assigned to the 2005 roster by the af2. "Eric was certainly a valuable member from last season's squad," said Dorados Head Coach Kevin Guy. "Another solid season like he had last year and he could possibly advance his career to the next level."
Houle (hooll) spent his rookie season last year with the Dorados and posted veteran style numbers. He converted on 11 (second best in the af2) of a league-high 43 field goal attempts and he ranked ninth in the af2 with 71 extra point conversions on 85 attempts for a sixth best PAT conversion percentage of 25.6%.
