The Pittsfield Suns' bats came to life in the seventh inning. In the inning the Pittsfield Suns scored seven runs. The Pittsfield Suns scored in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Tad Martin,, a fielder's choice, a fielder's choice, and a two-run home run by Zach Tower.
The Worcester Bravehearts jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The Worcester Bravehearts were up until the seventh inning, but the Pittsfield Suns had other plans for the final outcome, taking the lead back.

Jacob Williams improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Pittsfield Suns. He allowed one run over seven innings. Williams struck out five, walked two and gave up five hits.
Sam Ross was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out one.
