Keserich Commits to Buckeyes

The Cleveland Barons Hockey Club of the North American Hockey League is proud to announce that Goaltender Ian Keserich has committed to The Ohio State University Buckeyes for the upcoming 2004-2005 season.

The 6' 3" 180lb, Parma, OH native back stopped the USA select 17 team in Slovakia, leading team USA to a gold medal. He has a 12-5-1 record with a 3.20gaa and .901 save pct.

Barons General Manager/Coach Tim Alexander states: "This is a great day for Ian and the whole Baron organization. Ian has played for all levels of the Barons youth program, to see him succeed and earn a scholarship to a successful program like The Ohio State, only can hopefully be a goal for other players in our program"

Keserich becomes the third player from the Barons to play for The Ohio State University. He joins former Buckeye captain Taj Shaffnit and Tom "Buzz"Fritsche who will join the team in the 2005-06 season.
