
Kenny Chesney Returns to Pizza Hut Park on June 16

FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, March 13, 2007) - Pizza Hut Park announced today that country-music star Kenny Chesney will return to the home of FC Dallas for the second consecutive year when he brings his 2007 Flip-Flop Summer Tour to Frisco, Texas on Saturday, June 16. The reigning and back-to-back Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, Chesney's concert on July 22, 2006 at Pizza Hut Park drew 27,337 fans, establishing the current stadium attendance record for concerts.
FC Dallas season ticket holders will have a presale opportunity to purchase tickets from Thurs. March 15 at 10 a.m. through Friday, March 16 at 10 p.m. Tickets for the general public go on sale on Sat. March 17 at 10 a.m. at the Pizza Hut Park Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 214-373-8000 or 972-647-5700. Tickets are $71.75/ $57.75/ $51.75 plus convenience fees.
Having just announced six stadium shows -- in Seattle, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Boston, Cleveland and Detroit -- it figures Kenny Chesney's just getting warmed up to bring the summer alive. And to that end, he's bringing some really good friends out on the road to help him make his 2007 Flip-Flop Summer Tour the biggest yet - Sugarland & Taylor Swift.
"It's getting to be that time of year where we're all starting to itch," Chesney admits with a laugh. "And with a line-up like this, how can you blame us? This is the kinda show where me and the guys'll be sneaking into the wings to watch -- just like the fans. So, all we gotta do is finish up the stage, get the set list sorted out and start rehearsing."

- Parking at Pizza Hut Park will cost $15, $20, and $25.
- Pizza Hut Park hosted five major concerts in 2006 that drew a combined 109,857 fans to the stadium.

About Pizza Hut Park: Opened on August 6, 2005, Pizza Hut Park is a 145-acre multipurpose sports and entertainment facility located at the intersection of Main Street and Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, Texas, and is the home stadium for FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. The stadium, which has a permanent stage on the north end situated off the playing surface, has a capacity of 20,500 fans for sporting events but can expand to accommodate over 27,000 fans for concerts by utilizing field seats. The complex also includes 17 tournament-grade fields used for youth and adult soccer, as well as high school sports and other events.
