Frank Yallop's squad was perfect last week, compiling a 3-0-0 record to improve to 6-1-1 on the preseason. In those three contests, Los Angeles allowed only one goal while scoring seven to pick up a pair of wins against MLS opposition and one over the PDL's Fresno Fuego. On Saturday evening, L.A. got a pair of goals from Cobi Jones and individual tallies from Josh Gardner and John Thorrington to cruise to a 4-0 win over the Fuego in front of 7,000 fans in Fresno. Prior to that game, the Galaxy picked up wins over Chicago (2-1) and Houston (1-0) at The Home Depot Center to remain unbeaten in the state of California this preseason.
