
Keller Named Greyhound WHL Player of the Week

Calgary - The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Justin Keller of the Kelowna Rockets. Keller earned player of the week honours by recording five goals and six points in three games, including two game winning goals during the week of December 12th to December 18th. Keller helped the Rockets to a 2-1 record for the week.
On Wednesday, December 14th, Keller recorded a hat-trick, including the game-winning goal in a 6-3 win against the visiting Swift Current Broncos.
On Friday, December 16th, Keller scored two power-play goals including the game-winning goal in a 5-2 win against the visiting Portland Winter Hawks.
On Saturday, December 17th, Keller recorded an assist in a 2-1 road loss to the Tri-City Americans.
Keller, a 19-year-old native of Summerland, British Columbia was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2004 NHL Draft.
Honourable mention goes to Leland Irving of the Everett Silvertips.
