Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks News Release
The Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks have won four games in a row. The streak was against the Coastal Bend Aviators. This is the longest winning streak for the Ducks this year. Monday night the Ducks started newcomer RHP Billy Coleman. He pitched four innings, only allowed one hit but gave up four walks but none resulted in runs. Tim Vasquez came in with a score of 5-0 in the bottom of the fifth to take the win. Vasquez gave up one run and allowed 3 walks. Paul Sweeney came in to pitch two innings where he had two strikeouts and one walk.
The Ducks are now third in the Eastern Division, trailing Jackson by four games and a chance to tie Shreveport tonight with a win over the Sports. The Ducks' record is 17-13 and they've won the last eight out of ten games. Phillip May(2-2) will be starting tonight against the Shreveport Sports Ryan Synder(4-0).

Also, Saturday's game gates open at 5:45 because it's Fujifilm Photo Night. From 6:15-6:45 all fans will be allowed on field to take photos with the Ducks! Fans will receive Fujifilm coupons and other gifts! Saturday is also Halloween in June! There will be candy for the kids and costume contests for big prizes all night long. The first 1,000 kids will receive a Glow-in-the Dark Baseball!
Sunday, June 15 from 2-3pm kids can play catch with dad on the field at Price Cutter Park! It's also Family Fun Night and Boy Scout Day!
Tuesday, June 17 Kid's Night, All Ducks "Quack Attack Pack" Kids Club members receive FREE admission and their parents will receive admission for just $3.50! Any kid not in the Quack Attack Pack will receive $3 admission. Section 100 is the Quack Attack Pack section and any kids sitting in that section will receive a FREE Quacker.
Wednesday, June 18 Weiner Wedensday and Liberty Bank Senior Night, Homer Dogs just $1, senior fans can pick up $2.00 Senior Discount ticket vouchers at all Liberty Bank locations. Thursday, June 19 Quackers to all Quack Attack Pack members sitting in section 100, Round the bases after the game! Quack Attack Pack kid members are FREE, parents are $3.50, other kids just $3.
Friday, June 20 Ozark and Nixa Chamber of Commerces will be competiting to see who can bring the most fans out to the ballpark. Guaranteed win night, if the Ducks win, everyone in attendance will receive FREE admission to any future Ducks weeknight game with their ticket stub.
