New York City FC News Release
New York City Football Club can today confirm Keaton Parks has been named Etihad Player of the Month for May.
The native of Plano, Texas, initially joined NYCFC on loan from Benfica in 2019 before making the move a permanent one in 2020. He was awarded the Club's Young Player of the Season award at the end of that campaign and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
He began the month of May with the opening goal in a 3-0 success against San Jose Earthquakes. From there, he became a consistent presence in the starting XI and helped drive the midfield forward as the team remained undefeated and advanced to the latter stages of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
Starting all but one of the team's league games in May, Parks was a key contributor to NYCFC's success.
Everyone at the Club would like to congratulate Keaton on receiving this award.
