Texas Copperheads News Release

Katy, TX (January 26, 2006) -The Katy Copperheads are announcing final open tryouts for the upcoming 2006 NIFL season. Final tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, February 4th at Rhodes Stadium in Katy, TX. The NIFL allows three such tryouts prior to the opening of training camp. Given the overwhelming response generated from the first tryout in early January, two should be sufficient. The majority of them missed the original tryouts due to prior engagements, or first heard about the Katy Copperheads through the huge media coverage afterwards. "I am looking for the best athletes possible to help in our championship run. If the response and talent level is anywhere close to our first tryout, the team that emerges will be hard to beat", says Coach Blake.
