Kastles Clinch First Playoff Spot
July 21, 2013 - World TeamTennis (WTT) News Release
With their 19-18 victory over the Boston Lobsters on Sunday evening, the Washington Kastles are the first team to qualify for Mylan World TeamTennis post-season action. The Kastles have clinched the top seed in the Eastern Conference and will host the Eastern Conference Championship on Thursday, July 25, at Kastles Stadium at the Wharf in Washington, D.C. No other playoff teams have been determined.

The 2013 Mylan WTT regular season runs July 7-24 with the top two teams from the Western and Eastern Conferences advancing to the Mylan WTT Conference Championships on Thursday, July 25. The conference champions will battle for the King Trophy at the 2013 Mylan WTT Finals presented by GEICO at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 28. The Finals will be played on the home court of the Eastern Conference Champion.
