Kansas City Current to Host 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup Semifinal May 4 at Children's Mercy Park

KANSAS CITY - The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced the schedule for the 2022 Challenge Cup Semifinals on May 4, with the Kansas City Current hosting the club's first ever playoff appearance against the North Carolina Courage at 7:30 p.m. CT at Children's Mercy Park. The match will be broadcast on Paramount+.
Season ticket members will receive information via email on the purchase of their seats for the semifinal match on Monday, April 25. Single game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, April 27.
The Kansas City Current clinched the Central Division in the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup Sunday afternoon with a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Red Stars, finishing the round robin portion of the tournament with a 4-1-1 record. Kansas City was led by forwards Kristen Hamilton with four goals and Elyse Bennett with a league-leading four assists.
