"We believe that he will recruit and field a highly competitive RiverKings team that will quickly become one of championship caliber."

"It's going to be awesome to have here him coaching the RiverKings," said team captain Derek Landmesser. "He has a no-nonsense style of coaching, he believes in playing hard-nosed aggressive hockey, and his record at Youngstown speaks for itself. I look forward to playing for him."

"We welcome Coach Kaminski to the RiverKings organization," said Robin Costa, President of Maddox Foundation and Maddox Hockey, Inc. "His energy and dedication to hockey is matched by his ability to build the community partnerships which are a major goal of our organization. He and his family will be assets to our team and our community."

A "Meet the Coach" event will be scheduled as soon as Kaminski travels to DeSoto County. "While it may take a few weeks to get Coach Kaminski settled, he has already begun recruiting players for the upcoming season," said Mattice. "Announcements with regard to player signings will be made over the next several weeks."

The RiverKings expect to announce their full schedule for the 2008-09 CHL season very soon. For more information on season tickets and partnership opportunities, contact the RiverKings' offices at 662-342-1755.
