Kakkonen Scores First WHL Goal, ICE Defeat Pats 4-3

Regina, SK - ICE defenceman Valtteri Kakkonen recorded his first career WHL goal and Curtis Meger stopped 26 shots as the ICE dropped the Regina Pats 4-3 at Brandt Centre on Wednesday night.

The ICE also received goals from Austin Schellenberg, Jakin Smallwood and Davis Murray in the game.

The Pats got goals from Duncan Pierce, Sebastian Streu, and Brady Pouteau. Pats goaltender Dean McNabb stopped 18-of-22 shots.
